Variation in quality traits of newly developed Serbian wheat cultivars under different environmental conditions of Pannonian plain

The introduction of new high-yielding wheat cultivars and the intensification high year-to-year variability require an additional update information about environmental effects on main quality parameters lacking for newly released in Serbia. This study aimed to determine effect growing seasons technological properties Serbian examine relationships among traits different seasons. experiment was set up three (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19). A total 13 recently developed Serbia five most widespread local were evaluated compare differences end-use quality. Also, influence climatic conditions examined relations them. Modern have improved grain yield but lower than cultivars. Changes farinograph resistance degree softening related seasons, cultivars, their interaction, while had highest bread volume extensograph energy ratio resistance, extensibility variation. Moreover, a strong positive correlation found between protein content, sedimentation value, wet gluten water absorption with extensibility, negative second parameter extensograph, ratio, extensibility. Highlights- modern showed cultivars.- properties.- Grain negatively content volume.
